Directory Editor- Enid Tidwell |
Enid grew up on a 180 acre apple orchard in a sandstone house built with stone quarried nearby by Navajo craftsmen. The orchard was across the San Juan River from the Navajo (Dine) reservation. She was lucky enough to live in many places, including Kuwait. Her English degree is from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, but she never taught. Instead she became a sculptor working in the transparent media of cast polyester resin and later did a number of cast glass sculptures. Being an avid gardener and supporter of the Museum of International Folk Art keeps her busy when not pursuing equity for women and girls.
